Whenever we find an easy way to make a homemade version of our favorite treats, we can’t hold it back. This homemade Ferrero Rocher recipe comes together in no time, only takes a few ingredients, and truly hits the spot.
A healthy version of Ferrero Rocher truffles
Don’t get me wrong, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with the original. We truly believe that balance is key. However, sometimes we love to throw a healthier version out there.
For us, it’s also a fun and creative DYI-like process to get there. After some trial and error, we couldn’t be happier with these Ferrero Rocher balls. It has a rich hazelnut and chocolate taste, it has that outer layer of crunchiness, and oh, did I mention it only takes 4 ingredients?
How are these homemade Ferrero Rocher made?
When we say a recipe is easy, it really is. We love no-fuss coking and baking, use easily accessible ingredients and as few steps as possible. Everyone’s day is busy, so we like to simplify the cooking and baking process wherever we can 🙂
Talking about ingredients, we love that this recipe only needs 4 ingredients:
- Hazelnuts (you’ll need a food processor to ground and chop them)
- Unsweetened cocoa powder
- Maple syrup or honey
- Chocolate (to melt)
