Fruity Mango Salsa

Prep Time10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 mango (ripe, but not too soft), cubed
  • ½ red bell pepper, finely cubed
  • ¼ red onion, finely cubed
  • ½ lime
  • Jalapenos or spicy sauce to taste
  • salt to taste
  • a couple cilantro leaves

Instructions

  • Leave the mango in it's peel. Remove the seed of the mango by cutting off the right and left side of the mango. Then get any additional flesh off around the seed.
Cut small squares into each half mango, then cut each side in half (so you end up with four wedges). Fillet the cubed flesh off the peel. Add the mango cubes to a bowl
  • Finely cut half a bell pepper and a quarter onion in small cubes and chop the cilantro finely. Add to the mango bowl
  • Squeeze over the juice of half a lime, sprinkle over salt and add a bit of jalapeno or a couple drops of spicy sauce (tabasco, piri piri, etc. depending on what's available where you live). Mix well and enjoy
