Homemade Reese's Cup (3 ingredients)

Prep Time15 minutes
Course: Dessert, Snack
Cuisine: American
Keyword: Gluten Free, Peanut Butter Cups, Peanut Cups, Reese's Cups
Servings: 12 Cups

Ingredients

  • 200 g Coating chocolate
  • 120 g Peanut butter (crunchy or smooth)
  • 30 g Powdered sugar (icing sugar)

Instructions

  • Start with Chocolate: Prepare 12 muffin cups and melt your coating chocolate over water bath. Pour half of the melted chocolate into the 12 cups (about 1 tbsp per cup). Let it harden slightly in the fridge for about 15 minutes. Set the remaining melted chocolate aside (it will usually keep liquid enough)
  • Peanut Butter Filling: Mix peanut butter and powdered sugar in a bowl. Then scoop about 1 tsp into each cup and gently flatten it with the tip of your spoon
  • More chocolate: Now drizzle over the remaining chocolate to cover the peanut butter layer fully
  • Chill: Let it set in the fridge for at least 1-2 hours, or over night. It keeps for a couple of weeks in the fridge.
